Feedback and Annual Evaluation
Assess learning and community wellbeing without treating popularity as proof.
Core knowledge
Event attendance can reveal interest, but it does not by itself establish educational quality. Evaluate whether stated objectives were met, whether participants understood the content, whether safety rules worked and whether accessibility needs were addressed. Feedback can be anonymous and should not require disclosure of religious beliefs or personal health.
Historical, ethical and practical context
Complaints deserve a separate confidential pathway rather than being treated as ordinary survey ratings. Review schedules regularly, use actual capacity data and avoid running events solely to generate search-engine pages. Accurate reporting and willingness to cancel weak programs support trust.
Worked situation
A poorly attended history class produces excellent learning feedback, while a crowded ritual has repeated access problems. The organizers improve the latter's safety instead of assuming audience size settles quality.
A responsible method
- Write three outcome-focused feedback questions.
- Prepare a privacy-respecting attendance and incident summary.
- Compare goals with actual staffing and expense data.
- Revise the next season's schedule based on evidence.
Consider the limitations
This lesson teaches transferable educational or community skills. It does not confer an initiatory degree, substitute for a qualified mentor, or grant legal, clinical or spiritual authority over another person. Apply the concepts within your own tradition's boundaries, with consent, factual attribution and care.
Put it into perspective
Create an annual review scorecard covering learning, safety, resources and participant feedback.
Evidence of learning: Keep the completed work in your private study portfolio. Explain the source of claims and identify any limitation or unanswered question before requesting feedback.
Research and compare these sources. They describe different perspectives and must not be mistaken for a single universal Wiccan rule.
Review your understanding
Choose one answer per question. Feedback explains why each answer is correct.
