Wiccan Heritage Academy is an independent educational website. We collect information you choose to provide when you register, such as a username and email address. We also record progress and quiz attempts associated with your account. Passwords are stored as one-way password hashes by the website's authentication system.
Private journals
Optional Book of Shadows and study notes are visible to the account that creates them. They are stored on our server and are not end-to-end encrypted. Server administrators with privileged system access could technically access them. Do not store highly sensitive secrets.
Technical information
Web servers ordinarily log requests, IP addresses, user-agent information and error information for security and diagnostics. Login sessions and security tokens use cookies necessary for account functions. We currently do not include third-party advertising or tracking pixels in the academy website.
Retention and your choices
Journal entries can be edited or deleted from your account. Database backups may temporarily retain earlier versions. If you need help with account data or deletion requests, use the website's contact channels when published. Do not send sensitive information through public comments or forms.
Changes
We may update this policy as services change. New community, payment or newsletter systems will require review and appropriate additional disclosures before launch.
