From first steps to
responsible leadership.
Three progressive levels of research-informed study, original practical work, and accountable assessment—preparation for further learning within living traditions, not a substitute for their initiations.
A crucial distinction: Some Wiccan traditions recognize First, Second and Third Degrees through specific initiations and coven relationships. The levels below are independent educational studies; we cannot grant initiatory rank, ordination, lineage recognition, or an accredited degree through online coursework.
Foundations
Level I · Beginner through prepared solitary practitionerLearn modern Wicca's historical roots, ethical foundations, symbolic language, calendars, practical reflection, and the diversity of living traditions.
Advanced Practitioner Studies
Level II · Independent research, ritual design and teachingProgress to comparative study, full ritual design, community teaching, and original historical research, while learning where traditional lineages differ.
Priesthood & Leadership Preparation
Level III · Senior community-leadership studiesDevelop the practical, ethical, organizational and historical competence expected of responsible spiritual educators and community leaders. This is academic preparation, not Third-Degree initiation.
Knowledge and
responsibility.
Students complete lessons, knowledge checks, practical portfolios and a capstone evaluated by a human reviewer before an educational completion award can be issued.
Study deeply
Explore primary history, living Wiccan traditions, religious meanings, cultural context, and safety considerations with named research leads.
Build a portfolio
Create your own ethical rituals, historical writing, lesson plans, research notes, and community documents.
Demonstrate readiness
Pass lesson knowledge checks and submit substantial original work for academic review. Recognition by a coven always remains separate.
