RITUAL & CEREMONY / LESSON 8

Your Final Ritual Design Portfolio

Bring sources, meaning and practical care together into a complete original plan.

Prepare your portfolio

Your final project should include a purpose statement, a list of participants and their choices, a safe location, a sequence of activities, explanations of symbols, and attribution for any ideas taken from public sources.

This is a design exercise. It does not license the student to lead a private tradition's initiation or to make promises about medical, financial or supernatural outcomes.

Evaluate what you learned

Review the plan as if you were a participant unfamiliar with Wicca. Would every important activity be explained? Could people decline, adapt or leave? Is any claim of historical antiquity properly supported?

Revise the plan for simplicity and accessibility. A thoughtful ritual is not measured by the number of candles, rare tools or dramatic phrases.

YOUR STUDY PRACTICE

Put it into perspective

Produce a two-page original ceremony plan, and write a 300-word commentary on sources, safety and consent.
