What to understand
A responsible advanced learning plan is more than a list of ceremonies. It includes history, ethics, original research, community participation when appropriate, self-assessment, and periods for revision. The Wheel of the Year provides one possible organizing framework, but not all learning needs to happen at a festival. Students require feedback and clear criteria before the institution claims they have mastered a task. Communities should also plan around holidays, weather, accessibility, and the time members can realistically contribute.
Your practical assignment
Make a twelve-month plan with a topic, reading, practical activity, and evidence of learning for each month. Include one community-protection module, one historical-source project, and a month for review rather than new material.
Use this resource for context, and compare sources where possible. It is not an endorsement of all claims made in related traditions.
