Full Moon Gratitude Journal

A self-paced gratitude activity with an evidence-aware lunar theme.

Meaning and context

Full-Moon gatherings are associated with Esbats in many Wiccan traditions. Practices vary; no single ceremony is required for all practitioners. This is an original reflective exercise, not a lineage ritual.

What you'll need

Notebook or plain paper; optionally a battery-operated lamp.

A suggested sequence

  1. Record the calendar date and Moon phase from a trustworthy almanac.
  2. List three things for which you feel grateful, large or small.
  3. Identify one person whose contribution you can acknowledge, with no pressure for them to respond.
  4. Write about a difficulty without demanding that gratitude erase it.
  5. Close by noting one simple, safe act of appreciation you could undertake.

Reflect afterward

What did I notice that is worth remembering?

Safety and boundaries: No outdoor activity or open flame is required. Spiritual associations should not be presented as scientific claims about the Moon's effects.
