Meaning and context
Summer-solstice observances appear in contemporary Wicca and other traditions. The exact timing and climatic experience depend on geography and hemisphere.
What you'll need
Notebook; optionally a safe place to observe daylight and local ecology.
A suggested sequence
- Identify the local solstice date and daylight duration using a reputable reference.
- Choose an accessible place to observe wildlife or plants.
- Record three observations without disturbing animals or vegetation.
- Write one practical environmental action appropriate to your area.
- Keep symbolic meanings in a separate column from observable facts.
Reflect afterward
What is the relationship between my spiritual values and ecological care?
